Rustburger Server Rules

Access
You must apply to gain access to the server. All players must have a valid Steam account and provide their 17-digit SteamID64 number in the application form. All players must be over 18 years of age to apply. Donations to Cupburger are not required to play on the server, but they are always appreciated.

Respect & Conduct
Treat everyone with mutual respect. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, and discrimination of any kind - including, but not limited to, attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, neurodivergence, or age. Doxxing, targeted trolling, and severe toxicity will result in an immediate, permanent ban from the server and likely other community spaces. Keep global chat civil and conflict-free. Avoid personal attacks, inflammatory remarks, and excessive swearing. If you have a dispute with another player, please contact an admin via Discord ModMail instead of escalating the situation in chat.

Suitable Content
Sexually explicit or not-safe-for-work material is not permitted. This includes in Discord or in Rust global/team chat, as part of player names, signs, paintings, or in-game builds. We value free speech and welcome banter, strong opinions, and a bit of an edge, but that freedom comes with a responsibility to respect the people around you. Do not post content or make remarks that are deliberately insensitive or hostile towards any group or individual. Offending content will be removed, and repeat or severe cases may result in temporary or permanent removal from the server.

Content Creators
This server welcomes content creators. Feel free to stream or record gameplay while playing on this server, but do not use your platform to harass or unfairly target other players. As a content creator please be aware that your actions may be more visible and scrutinised by the community, and you shouldn't expect special treatment or immunity from the rules. Remember this is a PVP server first and foremost. If you wish to promote Cupburger during your streams or videos you can find official Cupburger graphics and information on our Streaming Pack page. Please ensure you read the Streamer Fundraising Policy linked on that page before promoting Cupburger.

No Cheating, Hacking, Exploits or Stream-Sniping
Rust is a game that rewards skill and strategy, and all players should be given the chance to compete on a level playing field. The use of any third-party hacks, scripts, automation tools, or game-breaking exploits is strictly prohibited. Do not stream-snipe or otherwise unfairly target content creators broadcasting on Twitch or other platforms. Any player caught cheating will be permanently banned.

No Stream Sniping
Do not stream snipe or harass content creators broadcasting on Twitch or other platforms. Keep the gameplay fair and enjoyable for everyone.

PVP & Griefing
This is a PVP server, and Rust is by its very nature a harsh and competitive game, but we are striving to maintain a respectful and enjoyable environment for all players. PvP is allowed and encouraged, but griefing is not. Raiding and combat are fair game, but persistent and unfair targeting, door/spawn camping, and toxicity are strictly prohibited. Keep in mind that the server is a shared space for the community, and all players deserve a fair chance to enjoy the game.

Admin Decisions Are Final
Follow directions from server admins. If you have a dispute, encounter a rule breaker, or need assistance, please contact an admin via Discord ModMail. All admin decisions are final.
